As a result she is given no discipline and turns into a wild-child by the time she is six. Helen Kellers parents hire Anne Sullivan to watchover and teach their child. Anne struggle with Helen to learn some manners. After some massive fights she decides that she needs a couple of weeks on one-on-one time with Helen to get her to change her ways. Helen’s parents agree to Annes request. During the two weeks she manages to teach Helen discipline and language through her fingers.
